Arthur Veríssimo traveled to India 27 times and participated in seven Khumba Melas, the main festival of Hinduism that brings together millions of Hindu devotees and passes through four Indian cities.

He was a columnist for Revista Galileu for seven years, a special reporter for Revista Trip for 28 years, lived in Bali and carried out dozens of reports on the island of Indonesia, traveled to Tibet in the Himalayas and participated in some pilgrimages, including to Mount Kailash, considered one of the holiest places for Hindus and Buddhists.

He is the author of the books Karma Pop and Gonzo!, about cross-cultural journalism. He is a speaker and among his favorite topics are: organization, strategic planning (research, studies, costs), teamwork, purpose, spirituality and overcoming challenges.

Son of an Acre mother and a Pernambuco father, Arthur Veríssimo was born in Rio de Janeiro and grew up in São Paulo. He has been a pilgrim since long before he imagined himself as such. He heard his first call from the East at the age of 18, when he discovered a Kundalini meditation space near his home in the south of São Paulo. Since then, he has immersed himself in this and other universes, from the sacred to the profane, from the spiritual to the physical, and has always done everything on his own, with the free spirit he still has today.
