About the author

Born in Belo Horizonte in Minas Gerais, Lauro Henriques Jr. lives in São Paulo. As a journalist, he worked for some of the main vehicles in the country, having been editor of Almanaque Abril and Revista das Religiões. He has published eight books, one of which has already been translated into Spanish. Among his works are the three volumes of the Palavras de Poder series (Alaúde), as well as the book of prose poems fragments of the rainy sun (Ateliê Editorial) and the children's book The Secret of the Ring (Tordesilhinhas).
