To insert:
1. Relax:
Wash your hands well, clean your Korui Menstrual Disc, relax and find a comfortable position. Remember: be patient, it is normal for the adaptation period to last a few menstrual cycles. It is recommended to be in a squatting, squatting position.

2. Fold:
Hold the disc between your thumb and forefinger and squeeze to fold it in half. It's a perfect circle, you don't need to worry there's no wrong way to fold it.

3. Enter:
Insert your Korui Disc into the vaginal canal, pushing it back and down. Unlike the menstrual cup, the disc has to be positioned further in and does not form a vacuum.

4. Position behind the pubic bone:
Once inserted, you need to position the edge behind the pubic bone. Use your index finger to push the edge up and make the fit.

You can use the disc for up to 12 hours at a time. After this, it must be removed, cleaned and reinserted.

To remove:
1. Relax:
Wash your hands well, find a comfortable position and relax! The most recommended positions for removing the disc are squatting or sitting on the toilet. Relaxation is essential for removing your Korui menstrual disc, so your vaginal muscles also relax and make removal easier.

2. Hold:
Insert your index finger until you reach the edge of the Korui Menstrual Disc. Make a hook with your finger and pull the edge out. Use your vaginal muscles (the same ones used for urination) to push your disc down to make it easier to reach.

3. Remove:
Slide the disc gently by gently pulling it out, continue until it is completely removed and keep it horizontal to avoid leaks.

During the cycle:
During the menstrual cycle there is no need to sterilize your Korui disc between uses. You can wash with just water or with Korui Sanitizer. At the end of the menstrual cycle, your disc needs to be sterilized before storing.

At the end of the cycle:
1. With the sterilizer pan:
Boil enough water to cover the disc. After the water boils, place the disc and let it boil for 5 minutes. Once this is done, your disk will be ready to use!

2. In the microwave:
Boil it for 5 minutes in a glass container.

3. With alcohol:
You can sterilize your disc with 70% alcohol. Spread well over the entire surface of the disc and then wash with water to remove any residue. Remember to boil it at least once every 3 menstrual cycles.
