History

In August 2023, the brand emerged as a lovely initiative by communicator and socio-environmental activist Giovanna Nader.

Giovanna Nader was born and raised in Araguari, Minas Gerais, a city in the heart of the Cerrado where there are more than 150 cataloged waterfalls.

Over the years, Giovanna witnessed the gradual disappearance of the biome, which was replaced by large plantations from large estates, at the same time that many waterfalls lost their grandeur due to the installation of hydroelectric plants.

Motivated by entrepreneurial desire, Giovanna decided to create a brand that not only generated as little waste as possible, but also protected the biome that has always inspired her.

Palma was entirely developed from active ingredients from the Cerrado and its mission is to be an activist and give visibility to this biome in all its diversity and richness.

Therefore, it is not just a cosmetics brand: it is a passionate advocate, committed to eliminating plastic and protecting the Cerrado. Its commitment goes beyond aesthetics, seeking to offer hair nutrition in a natural way while highlighting the pressing issues of our time.
