Mate Guayrá is the result of a partnership between four young entrepreneurs who already worked in the yerba mate sector and were always concerned about the devaluation of the product.

This dissatisfaction gave rise to the need to offer the market its own product that valued environmental responsibility and created more opportunities for the producer.

Launched in September 2022, Mate Guayrá has the history and lineage of native yerba mate in its DNA. From artisanal processes and nutrition in the middle of the forest, yerba mate brings back good memories of what was once the natural standard of quality. The name seeks to bring a memory to the past: Guayrá is the ancient region where yerba mate was discovered and which, at the time, was cultivated in harmony with nature. Mate Guayrá is committed to recovering this moment in time where traditional and agroforestry production are synonymous with quality.

Who does

For 3 generations, the Kosloski family has been dedicated to producing yerba mate in the middle of the Atlantic Forest. Seu João, from the second generation, passed on all his knowledge to his son Alexandre (one of the four partners) who currently takes care of the crops and agribusiness. The family lives on Fazenda Passo do Tigre, cultivating care for the forest and health for everyone.

The production process relies on the collaboration of several cooperative producers in the region in very close exchanges that guarantee higher quality of the product, promote an increase in preserved forests and directly contribute to the regeneration of the Atlantic Forest biome, one of the most degraded in the country. .

The cultivation method and agroindustry maintains 38 hectares of preserved forest, in addition to the area of neighboring herb growers who practice the same care with the native biome, thus creating a network of preservation and quality. A natural refuge that coexists in harmony with the processing of yerba mate.

The entire impact caused throughout the chain is reduced in transport emissions: Mate Guayrá is Carbon Neutral.
