History

Writer and journalist born in Belo Horizonte (MG), Lauro Henriques Jr. has lived in São Paulo for years. As a journalist, he worked in some of the main vehicles in Brazil, having been editor of Almanaque Abril (where he was responsible for the Culture, Health and Religion editorials), the magazine Superinteressante and Revista das Religões, a publication by Editora Abril focused on the universe of spirituality and self-knowledge.

He has published nine books, one of which has already been translated into Spanish. In addition to the books available at The Resilient Store, he is the author, among others, of the work fragments of the rainy sun, a book of prose poems with a preface by Jorge Mautner and presentation by Ignácio de Loyola Brandão. As a translator, he was responsible for translating into Portuguese two works by the Indian master Osho, Become Who You Are and Living Dangerously, as well as the most recent book by Eckhart Tolle released in Brazil, The Guardians of Being: The Spiritual Lessons Taught by Our Dogs and Cats.

The children's books by Lauro Henriques Jr. available at The Resilient Store were all illustrated by Ionit Zilberman. Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, at the age of six she moved to São Paulo. Her gift of expanding the enchantment of words through drawings began very early, when she was still little, and led her to study Fine Arts at Faap. He worked for many years illustrating for the country's main magazines, but it was from 2006 onwards that he began to dedicate himself exclusively to illustrating works of children's literature, having published more than fifty books in Brazil, some of which were also released in countries in Europe and Europe. Asia.

The work Só Rindo Even was co-authored by Natalie Catlett. With a degree in arts from the Pratt Institute in New York, Natalie was born in São Paulo and has always been passionate about the world of children. He has worked in the area of ​​children's books at large publishers, such as Simon & Schuster, and on the Nickelodeon channel. He has dedicated himself to teaching arts and creativity to children for several years, having founded his own space, Arte nos Fundos, in São Paulo. Currently, Natalie lives in Atlanta, United States, where she works as an educator and director of design thinking. Só Rindo Even is her third children's book, a reminder that smiles are everywhere and that they do a lot of good.
