Arte Circular Ateliê

Circular Art Atelier

Impact

Leaves, bark, twigs, leftover wood, broken objects or objects considered to be at the end of their cycle, are selected by artist Luciana Baldo, in a special curation of raw materials found directly in nature or in discarded materials.

The main objective is to manufacture more sustainable, ecological objects, using production processes that do not harm the health of the planet.
Using different techniques and a lot of sensitivity, she creates, restores and brings to life completely unique pieces.

Consume less and regenerate more.

Located by the sea, in Ubatuba, on the north coast of São Paulo, the Ateliê's work has a local impact by reducing the amount of waste and offering the community a new look at what is considered waste.

History

Graduated in Arts for over twenty years, the founder of the brand Luciana Baldo worked as an educator in several schools in the city of São Paulo. With the pandemic, he moved to the North Coast in search of a calmer life, more integrated with the Atlantic Forest and the Coastal-Marine system. He started restoring family furniture. Then, attracted by the abundance and diversity of the region's natural resources, she began creating design pieces for decoration.

He discovered a passion, found his mission and aligned himself with his work - today he lives in the center of what the Japanese call Ikigai.

Who does

The artist is responsible for the entire production chain: from choosing and collecting raw materials from nature, treatment and transformation, to creation and final finishing. In restoration projects, it also recovers pieces, renovating them until they are completely renovated.

Products

Ecological and sustainable decoration and upcycling recycled and reused pieces have become trends in conscious consumption. Luciana restores and creates furniture and decorations in wood, bamboo and natural fibers, always favoring manual work.

The studio's exclusive and sustainable creations provide a feeling of closeness to the environment, in a unique and natural experience, in addition to stimulating the circular economy. The materials, for the most part, are natural and biodegradable.

Restoration is a delicate process that requires calm, technique and patience. Transforming old objects is contributing to more conscious consumption.
