History

The founder of Na'kau is biologist Artur Coimbra. For 10 years, he had experience working with forest conservation, human ecology and agroecology in the Amazon and Africa. In 2012, he realized that undertaking business in the Amazon could positively impact many lives, putting into practice what he believes, that conservation is directly related to the income of men and women in the forest.

More than 30 families living in the municipalities of Urucurituba, Borba, Manicoré, Nova Olinda and Novo Aripuanã.

Products

Na'kau was born with four products, today it offers 25. Basically, they all revolve around four formulations: two with cocoa, organic sugar, organic coconut milk and cocoa butter; and two with only cocoa and organic sugar – these, in fact, can be considered one of the purest chocolates in the world. Cocoa nibs are also like chocolate, but without the processes, that is, chocolate in its most complete form, without sugar or other ingredients. Both help our body to increase metabolic capacity, neutralize the harmful effects of free radicals, prevent the storage of fat, in addition to helping to reduce blood pressure. They increase the feeling of satiety and, best of all, they produce the fantastic serotonin, a hormone responsible for improving mood, regulating sleep, appetite, heart rate, body temperature, sensitivity and intellectual functions.
